Robert Lighthizer Life story
Robert Emmet Lighthizer is an American attorney and government official who served as the United States Trade Representative from 2017 to 2021. After he graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 1973, Lighthizer joined the firm of Covington and Burling in Washington, D.C.

Trump delays some tariffs on Chinese imports
The US is delaying imposing tariffs on some imports from China until 15 December because of "health, safety, National Security and other factors".
The products include mobile phones, laptops, video game consoles, some toys, computer monitors, and certain footwear and clothing.
