Robert Neyland Life story
Robert Reese Neyland was an American football player and coach and officer in the United States Army, reaching the rank of brigadier general. He served three stints as the head football coach at the University of Tennessee from 1926 to 1934, 1936 to 1940, and 1946 to 1952.
