About Roland Wood
English baritone Roland Wood made his Royal Opera debut in 2015 as Roucher (Andrea Chénier) and has since sung Ford (Falstaff) for the Company. Wood was born in Berkshire and studied at the Royal Northern College of Music and the National Opera Studio. He won second prize in the 2000 Kathleen Ferrier Awards.
