Roman-Aequian Wars

The Roman-Aequian wars were a series of wars during the early expansion of ancient Rome in central Italy against their eastern neighbours, the Aequi. Livy mentions that the last king of Rome, Tarquinius Superbus, made peace with the Aequi.
