Roy E. Furman Life story
Roy E. Furman was the 21st Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania from 1955 to 1959, and the Speaker of the Pennsylvania House, 1936–1938. Furman was born in Davistown, Greene County, Pennsylvania. He was elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1933 and served as the House Speaker in 1936.
