Şalgam

Şalgam or Şalgam Suyu. It is pronounced "shal-gum" is a popular and traditional beverage from the southern Turkey cities Adana, Hatay, Tarsus, Mersin, Kahramanmaras, İzmir and the Çukurova region. Salgam is produced by lactic acid fermentation.
