Samuel Butler Life story
Samuel Butler FRS was an English classical scholar and schoolmaster of Shrewsbury School, and Bishop of Lichfield. His grandson was Samuel Butler, the notable author of the novel Erewhon.

Solihull: Boys who died after falling into icy lake named
Four boys who died after falling through ice into a frozen lake in the West Midlands have been named as Thomas Stewart,11, Jack Johnson , 10, Finlay Butler, eight, and Samuel Butler , six.
Finlay and Sam were brothers and Thomas their cousin, said police.
The Children were pulled from the water at Babbs Mill Park , in Kingshurst, near Solihull, on Sunday.
The families of the three young cousins have paid tribute to their " beautiful boys".
