Samuel Herrick Life story
Samuel Herrick was an American astronomer who specialized in celestial mechanics and made important studies preceding the development of manned space flight. Herrick was born in Madison County, Virginia, in 1911. In 1931 Herrick began corresponding with rocket scientist Robert H. Goddard.
