About San Saba
San Saba is a largely leafy, upscale residential zone. It's home to the Baths of Caracalla, a sprawling Roman complex whose picturesque ruins now serve as a backdrop for summer concerts and opera performances and an urban green space for joggers. The Basilica of San Saba dates from at least the 600s A. D. , while the Museo delle Mura, standing at the Aurelian Wall, was the gateway to the ancient Appian Way.
