The six-episode docu-comedy spotlights the once-legendary Philadelphia party program "Dancin' on Air" and a select few young adults who genuinely think it's their ticket to fame. The public-access TV series debuted in 1981, hosting the likes of Madonna, Will Smith, and Duran Duran -- and featuring a teenage Kelly Ripa -- before morphing into nationally telecast cable spinoff "Dance Party USA" in 1986.
