About Seven Billiard Tables
Upon discovering that her husband has fathered another woman's child, Angela (Maribel Verdú) takes her son, Guille (Víctor Valdivia), to Madrid to stay with her dad, who owns a billiard parlor patronized almost exclusively by his elderly friends. But when Angela and Guille arrive at her father's home, she learns from his much younger live-in girlfriend, Charo (Blanca Portillo), that he died that morning. Stuck with the decrepit pool hall, Angela attempts to revitalize it -- and herself.
