A mountain climber, who fought his way through merciless storms to all of Scotland, said 282 Munros in one winter round, it feels weird, stuck At Home by the Corona-Virus outbreak.

Kevin Woods, from Glasgow, is believed to be only The Third person to have achieved the benefit in the Winter Season , following in the footsteps of the late Martin Moran and Steve Perry both of whom died Last Year in separate climbing accidents.

The 28-year-old, who started the constant hike on the Ben More on Mull in December, she finished in 97 days on Ben Lomond .

He is no stranger to the Scottish Munros, mountains over 3000 feet (914 meters) in the conclusion of his third round just a month before The Epic winter began to challenge.

Mr Woods said, the majority of The Trip was self-supporting, to travel with a van, between The Mountain chains.

He was estimated to have about 1,400 miles (2,300 km) - almost the equivalent of walking from Edinburgh to Rome.

He climbed down about 460,000 meters (140,000 m), which is similar to the scaling of the highest mountain in The World , Mount Everest (8,848 m), 15 times.

He Said some of the scariest times were the times of the "relentless storms in the north-west Highlands in February".

"imagine The Van being rocked by the wind, Around to the beat of the hail, thunderstorm Around - it makes no peaks in the distance," He Said .

His challenge was almost cancelled, four days after he went over on his ankle on Ben More , near Crianlarich, on Christmas, but "it turned out OK, and was mostly drama-free".

Mr Woods gave regular updates on his and was aware, from the distance of the Corona-Virus outbreak.

He Said he was grateful that The First half of The Challenge in the "quick time" such as the United Kingdom went into lockdown to finish him "Time In the hand, the Munros in front of The Virus ".

when asked if he thought he was safe, far from civilization in The Mountains , Kevin said on the contrary: "There is not much difference between in The Hills and Home - both of which are physically isolated. "

Since his return, he says it feels like he has never been away, but in the future he plans to write a book and make a film about The Trip .
