Shabbethai Horowitz Life story
Shabtai Horowitz was a rabbi and talmudist, probably born in Ostroh, Volhynia. He was the son of the kabbalist Isaiah Horowitz, and at an early age married the daughter of the wealthy and scholarly Moses Charif of Lublin.
