Shinjō Castle is a Japanese castle located in Shinjō, northern Yamagata Prefecture, Japan. Throughout most of the Edo period, Shinjō Castle was home to the Tozawa clan, daimyō of Shinjō Domain. The castle was also known as "Numata-jō" or "Unuma-jō".
