Shurasena Life story
Shurasena was an ancient Yadava ruler of Mathura. He was married to a Nāga woman named Marisha. She bore all of his children and was the cause for Vasuki’s boon to Bhima. after whom the Surasena Kingdom or mahajanpada and the Yadava sect of Surasenas were named.
