Sir Edmund Cheyney Life story
Biography. Sir Edmund Cheney was a member of the aristocracy in England. Sir Edmund Cheyne, of Broke, knt., was born at Salisbury and baptised in the baptistery of St Edmund's church there on 21 March 1402. He was the son of William Cheney and Cicely Streeche. He married Alice daughter of Sir Humphrey Stafford, knt.
