Sir George De Vere Life story
George de Vere was the third son of John de Vere and Elizabeth Howard. He was born in about 1443, based on the fact that he was aged about 16 in 1459. He fought at the Battle of Barnet in April 1471 and was present with his brother Sir John de Vere at the seizure of St Michael's Mount, Cornwall in 1473.
