Biography. "Sir Henry Thomas Farquhar, 4th Bt, was born on 13 September 1838. He was the son of Sir Walter Rockcliffe Farquhar, 3rd Bt, and Lady Mary Octavia Somerset. "He married Hon Alice Brand, daughter of Henry Bouverie William Brand, 1st Viscount Hampden, of Glynde, and Eliza Ellice, on 8 July 1862.
