Sir James Pringle, 4th Baronet Life story
Sir James Pringle, 4th Baronet, was a British soldier and politician who sat in the House of Commons from 1761 to 1779. Pringle was the son of Sir Robert Pringle, 3rd Baronet of Stichill and his wife Catherine Pringle, daughter. of James Pringle of Torwoodlee, Selkirk and was baptized on 6 November 1726.
