Sir John Davie, 1st Baronet Life story
Sir John Davie, 1st Baronet of Creedy in the parish of Sandford, near Crediton, Devon, was a member of the Devonshire gentry and served as Member of Parliament for Tiverton in 1621-2 and as Sheriff of Devon. He was created a baronet in 1641.
