Sir Peter Anson, 7th Baronet Life story
Rear-Admiral Sir Peter Anson, 7th Bt, who has died aged 93, was a prisoner of war of the Japanese who later became a leading figure in the British space-communications industry. As a midshipman Anson joined the battleship Prince of Wales in July 1941, after the Battle of the Denmark Straits.
