Sir Richard De Langton Life story
Sir Richard de Langton, baron of Newton and lord of the manor of Walton-le-Dale was the son of Henry de Langton (d. 1471). He m. before 20 April 1467 to Isabella daughter of Peter Gerard of Brynn. He was made knight banneret by Lord Stanley at Hutton Fields, Scotland in 1482.
