Sir Thomas Aston, 1st Baronet Life story
Sir Thomas Aston, 1st Baronet was an English politician who sat in the House of Commons in 1640. He fought for the Royalist cause in the English Civil War. The portrait he commissioned from John Souch of his first wife Magdalene Aston on her deathbed is in Manchester Art Gallery.
