Sir Thomas Colclough was born on 1 April 1564 in Ireland. He was the son of Sir Anthony Colclough and Clare Agard. He married Martha Loftus, the daughter of Most Rev. Adam Loftus and Jane Purdon. Sir Thomas and Martha lived at Tintern Abbey, County Wexford.
