Mr. Bloomberg is without a doubt to face questions about his political past to the Women , farmers and minorities - on Wednesday, when he takes The Debate stage for the First Time in Las Vegas, Nevada.
It doesn't appear on any ballot, however, until Super-Tuesday , 3. March, as some of the largest States, such as California and Texas, hold their primary contests.
While the liberals have Him had attacked, about the controversial policy during his tenure as mayor, and his billionaire status and the switch off the party affiliation in The Past , Mr. Bloomberg is also a strong investor in many of the major causes for the Democratic voters.
He spent some $100m (£77m), backing Democrats in the 2018 mid-term elections, which saw a record number of Women elected to Congress. He founded the non-profit every town for Gun Safety group, to lobby for Gun Control policies. He has More Than $causes 1 billion for the Public Health and $278m to Climate Change initiatives.
But what has that to look like a Michael Bloomberg fan?
Think of a Bernie Sanders supporter, and there is a good chance, a picture appears in your mind of someone young, progressive, possibly male.
- Looking in the polling data and anecdotal at rallies, it is the most of Mr. Bloomberg's grassroots seems to be-followers tend to be older. Pro-Bloomberg groups on Social Media are of older-than--Americans of middle age; there is some ethnic diversity, but little can be when It Comes to age.
A Quinnipiac survey last week found most of the former mayor's support came from voters aged 50 and up who earn More Than $50,000 per year.
Here is how Mr. Bloomberg grassroots supporters responded to some of the biggest points of criticism against Him - and that's why they say, you are All In for Mike in 2020.
What is with The Money ?For the New Yorker , Laura Wagner, Mr. Bloomberg's money is much of a disadvantage.
"you a billionaire [execute], And Then , if they are, they are criticized for this!", she says, adding that most of the modern U.S. presidents have been very wealthy.
Mrs. Wagner, a Sotheby's associate realty and contributing columnist for The Italian and English newspaper, La Voce, is that money plays a large factor in the Mr-Bloomberg candidacy. But, she says, is not a bad thing.
"All on Him , because he with it is, in my opinion, as effective. He is not a barter trade with these major oil companies and organizations, the NRA [National Rifle Association], or try to appease you.
"Donald Trump wants what Michael Bloomberg is in terms of The Power , The Money . "
All of the Fans who spoke to the BBC-echo, that Mr Bloomberg, a successful business record was a highlight, not a hindrance.
"And as The Mayor of The City of New York for three terms, that's pretty close, President of the United States ," Ms. Wagner added.
What is with the 'stop and frisk'?Perhaps the biggest Problem of Mr. Bloomberg's mayoral past is this policy that allows the police to question and search people for weapons or illegal items is based. Most People stopped were innocent; most of them were black or Latino.
"Stop, question and frisk" began under mayor Rudy Giuliani , but reached under Mr. Bloomberg, with over 680,000 stops. Analysis of the program in The Years since has suggested that the random investigative holds a meaningful impact on crime.
This month, the audio originated from 2015, in which Mr. Bloomberg male minorities claimed to commit his "crime". He's since apologized for the policy, and "the impact on black and Latino communities".
Sheikh Musa Drammeh, 58, is a religious leader and community activist, lives in The Bronx and Harlem neighborhoods in New York City for The Past 30 years.
As he emphasized on the controversial policy, Mr Drammeh: "No candidate who has ever so much for The Blacks and Latinos, such as Bloomberg. "
"I'm black", said Mr Drammeh further. "No one can tell me about the traces of the crime in this city - I know it, I live it, I Am a victim.
"And Bloomberg did not create, stop and frisk, [but] Bloomberg administration saw that you have to leave a habitable environment, otherwise, investors, residents of high-income individuals pay taxes to support the social services of The City . "
Mr Drammeh says what he has seen, as an activist, to stop the work, gang crime, the people in his district "benefits stop-and-frisk".
"It's not discriminatory, it is not necessary for life. The lives that are saved are black and brown, not white. "
What makes Him The Best on Trump?Carla Shead, a 49-year-old from Maryland, told the BBC: "It will take" to beat New York , " the trump card. "
Ms Shead added that Mr. Bloomberg has shown, by "a successful businessman and a successful mayor and has his money where his mouth is".
"listen, When I started on his show and what he had to say about the structure of the municipality and what was his plan for the United States - he's not all what trump is. And that to me is the bottom line. "
Ms Shead said that the differences in This Country are around for a long time. Your family is from Mississippi, she says, and many were active participants in the American civil rights movement.
"America is in search of a Savior now," she says. "The trump card from the beginning, divided The Nation and has dredged up the old wounds.
"My Family and other African-American Families , is in this - in seeing the country come together, and I think that Mike Bloomberg, do the exact opposite of what is the trump card here. "
What Bloomberg are key campaign issues?
What about his comments about Women ?Mr Bloomberg has come Under Fire for sexist comments he allegedly in the year 1990, including allegedly told a pregnant employee you should "kill", he denied, under oath. The comments have led me to comparisons of President Donald Trump .
But Darryl Morin, 52, told the BBC that he is not the similarities between these allegations of sexism, to see.
"I Hear a lot of hearsay," he says. "I know that it is inflammatory rhetoric, but I have no gun seen, no smoking, as we did with Donald Trump . "
"Just to see everything he's done to help the people around Him , people of color, Women - I'll take Him at his word," Mr Morin said, adding that Mr. Bloomberg has increased Women in its organization.
"Anyone who tries to say he is to try to, minorities down, I maintain strongly, he does exactly The Opposite . "
Mr. Morin, who lives in Franklin, Wisconsin, also has a series of rallies this election cycle, and says to do while Mr Bloomberg, has a work to when it's the younger voters, he generally diverse crowd.
"I'm Hispanic, there are Asian-Americans, African-Americans, not minorities. It is really a thought-out amount rather than just the support of a person or idea. "
He says the rallies have been respectful and that the former mayor answers to questions about politics and his past in a in advance.
"as soon As people see that you recognize that this is A Man who really has spent The Last parts of his life, trying to help, they all have the same access to the American Dream . "
What is with his electability?in Spite of its ad buys with Instagram influencers to target a younger audience, Mr. Bloomberg is the largest point comes from an older audience.
But Joe Nicoletti, 53, who helps manage the pro-Bloomberg-groups on Facebook,: "the is says, what are campaigns for. Tell your story and the extension of your tent. "
