Pop star Sia reveals struggle with chronic pain disorder
Sia is typically known for being secretive about her life, and regularly covered her face with wigs and headwear
Australian pop star has revealed Sia, that she suffers from a disease that gives her chronic pain.
In a tweet, the singer-songwriter said that she had Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), a rare condition that can cause joint pain and extreme fatigue.
Sia, 43, is known for being secretive about her life, and regularly hides her face under wigs and headwear.
she had written a string of solo hits, the Other Songs for Rihanna, Beyoncé, Katy Perry and Adele.
"I just wanted to do say that you suffer from pain, whether physically or emotionally, I love you more," Sia tweeted on Friday. "Pain is demoralizing, and you're not alone".
According to the British National Health Service, there are 13 types of EDS, a condition that affects the connective tissue throughout The Body . Some forms are mild, while others disable.
Sia has opened up in The Past about her addiction to alcohol and painkillers.
