Her books include Clementine: The Life of Mrs. Winston Churchill, which was chosen as book of the year by The Telegraph and The Independent, and was a finalist for the Plutarch Award.

Winston Churchill: Hero or villain?

was A statue of Winston Churchill , sprayed with graffiti during the recent protests in London, with claims that the former Prime Minister to be racist.

Minister of the government, condemned the "acts of vandalism and desecration" of The Statue .

But the UK during the war, the leaders split opinion during his lifetime and a half remains at the end of the figure today.

For many he will always be known as The Man who helped inspire the allies to victory in WW2, but some question as to the other parts of his legacy.
