Spessard Holland Life story
Spessard Lindsey Holland was an American lawyer and politician. He served as the 28th Governor of Florida from 1941 to 1945, and later as a US senator for Florida from 1946 to 1971. He would be the first person born in Florida to serve as Governor and US Senator for the state.
