About Sphynx Cat
The Sphynx cat is a breed of cat known for its lack of coat. Hairlessness in cats is a naturally occurring genetic mutation; however, the Sphynx cat, as a breed, was developed through selective breeding, starting in the 1960s.

The Breed was extremely rare, with only a few of The Cats anywhere in The World .
Three decades and 45 kittens later, their Love Affair goes on-and it has six sphynxes at her home in Christchurch, Dorset.
Over The Last 30 years, Jan is the promotion of The Breed has contributed to this, and it is believed now that about 600 sphynxes in the UK alone.
