Spider Jorgensen Life story
John Donald "Spider" Jorgensen was a third baseman in Major League Baseball who played from 1947 through 1951 for the Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Giants. Jorgensen made his MLB debut for the Dodgers on April 15, 1947, the same day teammate Jackie Robinson broke the professional baseball color line.
