Stanley Hornbeck Life story
Stanley Kuhl Hornbeck was an American professor and diplomat. A Rhodes scholar and the author of eight books, he had a thirty-year career in government service. He was chief of the State Department Division of Far Eastern Affairs, a special adviser to Secretary of State Cordell Hull, and ambassador to the Netherlands.
