Star Portraits

Based on the hit BBC program, "Star Portraits" celebrates world-famous Canadian celebrities and the country's vibrant visual arts community. It brings together three painters from Canada, who are charged with painting the portrait of the same celebrity. After spending only a few hours getting to know their subject and two weeks putting brush to canvas, the paintings are revealed to the celebrity, who gets to choose only one to keep for themselves. The rest either end up at the Portrait Gallery of Canada or are auctioned off for charity. Broadway star Louise Pitre hosts. …
