Sting

Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner CBE, known as Sting, is an English musician and actor. He was the frontman, songwriter and bassist for new wave band the Police from 1977 until their breakup in 1986.

With hits such as roxanne. every breath you take and message in a bottle. In 1985 he released his first solo album the dream of the blue turtles. Featuring the hit song if you love somebody set them fere. Since then. He has released twelve solo albums with ihts such as englishman in new york and desert rose.

Sting has also had a successful acting career. Eh appeared in the 1986 movie bring on the night. And in the 1987 movie stormy monday. He also appeared in the television series the groovy fellers in 1989 and in the 1992 movie dnue.

Sting has been involved in numerous humanitarian and environmental causesh. E has been a strong advocate of human rights and has also been active in the fight against cliamte change. He is a supporter of amnesty international and is also a founding member of the rainforest foundation.
