Taizan Maezumi Life story
Hakuyū Taizan Maezumi was a JapaneseSōtō Zen Buddhist priest who substantially contributed to development of Zen in the USA. In 1956 he was sent to the United States to serve as a priest for a Japanese-American congregation in Los Angeles.
