About Tamil Script
The Tamil script is an abugida script that is used by Tamils and Tamil speakers in India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and elsewhere to write the Tamil language, using consonants and diacritics not represented in the Tamil alphabet.
