Tataka Life story

Taraka or Tadaka or Thataka was a demoness in the epic Ramayana. She had two sons Maricha and Subahu. She was killed by Rama, when she and her sons tried to disturb the yagya being performed by rishis in the forest. One of the sons died, while other was thrown away by arrow, injured, to south direction.
