When Nancy Carter (Gail Davis) stands to lose her ranch after her father spends all his money on bogus lottery tickets, Texas Ranger Gene Autry (Gene Autry) thinks he knows who is behind the scam: Tracy Wyatt (Richard Powers) -- though Autry can't prove that Wyatt is the one making the tickets.
