British filmmaker James "Happy" Marshall moved to New York several years ago with a strong sense of American patriotism, which hasn't faltered despite experiencing cynicism from those around him. This series sees the adventurous Englishman explore America -- hoping to fall deeper in love with his adopted homeland -- alongside enthusiastic American Todd, who wants to see the country in a new light.
