About The Dawning
Angus Barrie (Anthony Hopkins) is a member of the newly formed Irish Republican Army and on the run from the authorities in the early 1920s. Nancy (Rebecca Pidgeon) is an 18-year-old girl who's lost her parents but believes her father is still alive. She meets Angus after discovering someone has slept in her beach hut, and the two form a close, if guarded, friendship.
