About The Escalators
The Escalators were a short-lived British rock outfit led by bassist Nigel Lewis and drummer Mark Robertson, who formed the group in 1982 after leaving the Meteors, the influential U.K. psychobilly act fronted by Paul Fenech.

... We got on to The Escalators and when we got off at the top, he never actually came up so I think he turned around and ran back down...
