About The King's Thief
Lady Mary (Ann Blyth) is living in exile in Normandy. She learns that James, the Duke of Brampton (David Niven), has wrongfully accused her father of treason and had him executed. The scheming duke has compiled a list of all the wealthy noblemen in England, and he plans to frame them all, but Mary vows to avenge her father's death. On her quest, she meets Michael (Edmund Purdom), a dashing robber who steals the list, and the pair join forces against the duke.
