About The Memorandum
The Memorandum is an English translation of the 1965 play Vyrozumění, by Czech playwright Václav Havel. Englishwoman Vera Blackwell first published this translation in 1967. In 2006, American translator Paul Wilson published a new translation, titled The Memo at Havel's request.
