About The Needles
The Needles is a row of three distinctive stacks of chalk that rise about 30m out of the sea off the western extremity of the Isle of Wight, United Kingdom, close to Alum Bay, and part of Totland, the westernmost civil parish of the Isle of Wight.

Police Scotland have concluded their inquiries after a customer claimed to have found a pin in a banana bought from a supermarket in Grangemouth.
Officers have established The Source of The Needles and have given "appropriate advice and guidance", according to a spokeswoman for The Force .
No further police action will be taken.
It is understood to be an Isolated Incident and there is not thought to be any risk to The Public .
