About The Picasso Summer
Frustrated architect George Smith (Albert Finney) can't seem to find a creative outlet -- least of all in his own stifling assignments at work. After Smith and his wife, Alice (Yvette Mimieux), fail to find inspiration by rubbing elbows with the art community in San Francisco, they return to their apartment discouraged. But when Smith decides he must travel to Europe in search of his favorite painter -- the great Pablo Picasso -- Alice indulges her husband, and the two pack their bags.
