About The Selection: Special Operations Experiment
Members of special operations units must endure extreme training and assessment exercises in order to make it as part of the units. Tear gas, interrogation simulation and psychological warfare are some of the tests instructors use to make sure they're selecting the best men and women they can get. This series puts 30 men and women with no military background through an authentic experience, led by veterans of the Navy SEALs, Green Berets and Army Rangers. This isn't a typical competition series -- subjects are not competing with one another, and there is no cash prize at stake.
