About The Sin Ship
Salty old captain Sam McVey (Louis Wolheim) takes on a pair of passengers -- a preacher and his innocent wife -- who would like to travel down the Pacific coast. McVey wrongly assumes that the devout duo -- in reality bank robbers Smiley Marsden (Ian Keith) and Frisco Kitty (Mary Astor) -- will require his protection to survive the roguish behavior of his unruly crew. But, as the journey progresses, McVey finds himself falling for Kitty and completely disarmed by her independent nature.
