Fresh out of college, American Rod Drew (John Wayne) is asked to assist in the search for missing people in Canada. Accompanied by Wabi (Noah Beery Jr. ), his friend from school, Drew travels north, but quickly gets into a confrontation with a gang of French Canadian outlaws.
