About The Tribe
This observational documentary goes behind the scenes of tribal life in Ethiopia. In the Omo region of southern Ethiopia, a community of 20,000 people are known as the Hamar tribe. The Ayke Muko family from this tribe are filmed as they go about their daily activities. The household's elder lives with his two wives, nine children and numerous grandchildren. Cameras are fitted into huts to capture traditions, relationship intracacies and conversations as they unfold.
