About The Vanishing Virginian
In 1913 Lynchburg, Va. , district attorney Bob Yancey (Frank Morgan) heads a large family. With his two eldest daughters, Margaret (Natalie Thompson) and Rebecca (Kathryn Grayson), coming of age, Bob has distinct plans for their futures, regardless of their own ideas. Later, when Bob must prosecute a friend of his servant's, he stages an in-court incident in an attempt to help the innocent man. Meanwhile, Margaret falls for lawyer Jim Shirley (Douglas Newland), who represents the accused.
