About The Wrights


The Wrights were a one-off Australian rock supergroup consisting of Nic Cester, Bernard Fanning, Phil Jamieson, Kram, Chris Cheney, Davey Lane, and Pat Bourke. They are named after former Easybeats frontman Stevie Wright, the original performer of the song-trilogy "Evie", which was the group's feature song.

Wrightbus , went into administration last month after a period of financial difficulties

The fate of Wrightbus is to be known, in hours, Ian Paisley MP has said.

Ballymena business in administration last month and is up for sale.

The English industrialist, Jo Bamford, son of JCB chairman Lord Bamford, understood to have an offer for The Company .

However, the ownership of the Wrightbus factory in Galgorm outside Ballymena, remains an obstacle for a General resolution.

The Union , Unite, said the deadline to resolve the current impasse in the course of the owner of the site is now BST, 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.

The premises are owned separately from the manufacturing business and held in a company by the name of whirlwind property Two is not part of The Wrights group, and is therefore not under the control of the administrator.

The property company controlled by Jeff Wright, the former owner of Wrightbus .

Mr Paisley said the country remained The Last hurdle for The Deal , and Mr. Bamford was not to invest tens of millions of pounds, if he's not in control of the asset.

The Unite union has said that the livelihoods of 1,200 workers hang in The Balance

"this is the Last Chance and I really hope that a deal can be done," the democratic Unionist Party MP.

"The banks have undertaken, the administrators have accepted it and now the bell is ringing for The Landlord .

"for tea tonight, this offer effectively ceases to exist, and sometime tomorrow I believe, the administrator is forced to liquidate this company. "

About 1,200 jobs, after The Company failed to find a new owner before it went into administration.

"This is the eleventh hour, in the efforts to save these jobs," said Unite-Georg Naughty.

"Unite is calling Jeff Wright, to do The Right Thing by these workers, their families, and of this city. "
